Some of our posts focus on making money techniques by using knowledge, skills or learning a skill to create a service to make money from.

If you don’t have the time to learn a new skill, don’t worry. This post is going to focus on the 3 easiest ways to make money that anyone can do. What’s more these are methods you can go and start right now.

These may not be the quickest routes to making money. The quickest is by promoting or advertising a freelance or side hustle skill and look for work. As this post is going to look at options of creating money with no skills, it may take a little longer to create that income.

Make Money with Surveys

We’ll start with probably the easiest method. Complete surveys, and give your opinion, and make extra money.

Companies need feedback, opinions and insights in order for them to better target their products and services – and companies are willing to pay for people’s opinion.

Rather than spending hours tracking down these companies, you can use a survey company. These aggregate hundreds of company’s surveys in one place. This means you sign up for one service, on either a website or mobile app, complete as many surveys you can and be paid by one company.

It works well, although it can be time consuming to make a small amount of money.

Swagbucks is a service we tried out recently. It’s easy to join, and easy to use. It can be frustrating at times as you can volunteer to participate in a survey, but not all companies are looking for feedback from everyone. Sometimes this can be where you live, what you ear, what car you’re intending to buy etc….

You’ll complete a few beginner questions, and if those match the criteria the company are looking for, you can continue with the survey. If not, you’ll be returned to the survey company, and can start again with another survey.

If you have a spare couple of hours a night, you could earn up to £40 per month. It’s not a lot for your time, but it’s quick and easy and anyone can do it.

Although £40 may not sound like a lot, if you add this up every month and put the money towards a Christmas fund, you could have an extra £480 a year to put aside for Christmas gifts, food etc…

Become a YouTube Influencer

This method is less about a skill and more about a personality. Anyone though can make a YouTube video. Your mobile phone is capable of recording HD video, which can be uploaded to a YouTube channel.

If you have a voice, not afraid to use it and feel you can create a YouTube channel about your life, your experiences, your travel habits or something others would find interesting you could build an audience and a following.

A following will allow you to reach an audience, and with an audience you can advertise or review products or services. This is something companies are willing to pay for.

To a business, having someone with a following promote your product has far greater impact than a generic advert in a newspaper, magazine or online advert.

Growing an audience takes time but it can be done for free, and you could start today. Just head over to YouTube, sign up for a free account and follow the links to create your own free channel.

Create and upload your first video, and you have your free channel.

Next Steps: We have put together a full how to make money with a YouTube channel guide walking you through this method step by step.

Become a Virtual Assistant

Most services to provide require a skill. Whether that’s design, coding etc… but a virtual assistant usually requires no particular skills.

A virtual assistant is someone who helps out a company, or individual, with tasks that need to be completed that they don’t have the time to do.

This could be anything from looking online for great hotels or restaurants in a particular area and even perhaps booking a table, or it could be to research competitors’ products and prices. It could be data entry, or even dictation services.

You can choose which tasks you’d like to take on and which you would prefer to leave to another virtual assistant.

A virtual assistant will usually be required to carry out tasks that almost anyone with an internet connection, and common sense, can do.

To get started you would need to create a virtual assistant service page on a gig provider such as Fiverr or Upwork. There you can promote which services you can provide, and your costs.

If you’re not sure what services you should promote, or what costs you should charge, it would be worth checking out other virtual assistant services there are available on Fiverr and Upwork, and typical costs.

Next Steps: Visit both Fiverr and Upwork and see what options are available to you.
